prism lighting

Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C by Mohamed Boraie

A Prism, a camera, and dinosaurs! Yes, this is what happen when I visited the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington DC!

Recently, I have been trying to introduce the idea of using a glass prism (amazon) in my photography to add an additional natural flare to the image and to help me discover news ideas and inspirations in each image.

Some of the images below contain a natural flare from using a glass prism.

Enjoy the images!

Washington, DC Photography Walk - Boraie Photography Arlington, VA Photographer by Mohamed Boraie

Walking around DC with my camera always makes me happy and allows me to experiment with ideas and techniques that I can use later in my wedding and my life style sessions.

Some of the images below are taken through a prism, which allows me to explore new lighting techniques that add a flare (additional white light ) to the pictures.

All the pictures taken below are with the permission of the subject. ( Yes, I do ask before I photograph people)
